Flipping the seat up on my Kubota after getting off seems to be a well thought out system for reminding one that the PTO is running. The built in delay is plenty of time to flip up the seat, and a good reminder that the PTO is running when one is ready to re-mount.
I realize there are a number of ways to have the PTO run while not on the tractor. For my well being, disarming the switch is not one of them. To each to his own...
Agreed... wood block or brick on seat is good reminder the switch is "disabled"... IF you were to re wire safety switch probably be in such a way the seat has to be in tilted in up position to actually disable safety interlock.... And a reminder its disabled...
On my SCUT if PTO is engage and I get off seat it dies... Need a "safe" work around that is why I think seat tilt switch would be ideal.... Other safe aspect is it will not start if HST lever is not in neural no matter if seat is occupied or not...
