Massey 50 diverter problem?

Good day, New member and new to me a Massey 50 with Allied loader. Just took delivery and parked it in the driveway. Loader worked perfectly when it was unloaded from the truck, parked for a few days and then when I started the tractor again the loader wouldn't function. 3 way RML-17 diverter lever. 3 pt hitch still works perfectly. Any suggestions would be appreciated. BTW I noticed that the hydraulic/tranny level is at the bottom notch on the dip stick - could this be the culprit? Thanks

Position lever all the way back in the constant pumping position??

Thanks for the reply. Yes lever is all the way back. Fluids have been topped up and diverter lever seems to be functioning properly, meaning the shaft rotates when changing positions. From what I've researched the hydraulics will self bleed if there is air trapped in the lines? Any othe suggestions?

I don't want to insult anyone. I am just trying to help. You probably have a two stage clutch so the clutch pedal needs to be up through the second stage for the hydraulic pump to run. The position lever has a small stop at the transport position, it needs to be pulled back past this stop. The draft lever needs to be pulled all the way back also. You need to try the diverter valve in the other two positions other than where the three point operates. You said it was a three position and you are only using two. It doesn't make sense that anything else has gone wrong just setting.

Thanks. I will try all the above. I pulled the diverter off and noticed the 'O' ring was slightly crushed so I will replace that at the same time. I'll let you know. BTW, no insult seen, I'm just happy for the help and suggestions.

If the standpoint came out when you took the diverter valve off, you may not get it inserted back into the pump correctly without draining a couple of gallons of fluid and removing the cover on the right hand side of the differential case and reaching in to guide it into the pump. Otherwise you will not have any pressure.

I say no insults because I have seen people get very upset if you tell them something they already know. People trying to help are responding the best they can with limited knowledge of the OPs situation. Sometimes it is impossible to get enough information to give the proper answer. Pictures always help tremendously.
