Hi there I am trying to hook up a small wood chipper to the pto of an old (60's) Massey Ferguson 65 diesel. The tractor has the 2 spool valve on the hydraulics and all the pumps seem to be working fine I am just not sure the right way to hook this chipper up. The chipper has a hydraulic feed on it so it calls for a fluid to be sent and then returned (I am not too well versed in the hydraulic lingo). I have one line coming off the outside valve and the valve further under the seat, the inside, is capped off. The inside valve affects the 3pt hitch and needs to be locked towards the operator in order for the up down lever that controls the 3pt hight to function. Should I connect a hose to the capped off inside port and send the fluid back in that way? Or from my research on here some people have said that tap into some other bolt somewhere on the machine as a return. So if thats what I should do where is this bolt located and then what should my lever orientation be to operate the feed on the chipper? Thanks for any help any one can give.
