Thanks in advance. I have a massey 1010 with a electric front mount pto clutch. Just got done rebuilding the mower deck and noticed that the shaft that drives the electric pto was very sloppy. So I dissesembled and found that the carrier bearing was to large wasnt even holding the shaft. Sourced out a new bearing and reassemble unit. Was workin fine untill the clutch started sending smoke signals.First thought that it was the bearing,I thought a 5 dollar bearing is nothing to lose, worst case i have to replace bearing again. I was wrong i think it is the clutch lining. Is there a better way to hook up my belly mower on this 1010 or am i stuck with the electric clutch that I have to replace? This clutch replacement is very expensive and im not likeing it at all.Grass is still long.
