massey ferg hyd cly repair

Hi i have a massey ferguson 50A backhoe ,and i cant get the gland nut on the lift ram to undo ,have used oxy ,loctite freeze and 9ft bar with stilson,the tilt ram didnt have a threaded gland but a wire internaly through small hole,and the rear bucket ram had a threaded glan nut but it came apart easily ,the only thing i have found on the bucket lift ram is a small hole and there seems to be an internal wire in there but it dosnt move so my query is does that have to be removed somehow or not ,have enclosed ram pict thanks Fendmat

If you turn the gland,, the wire should feed out and if it does not, you may have to help it out with a pick.
