Massey Ferguson 135/165 power steering swap

Hi, I have a Massey Ferguson 135 diesel and a 165 gasser. The 135 doesn't have power steering and the 165 does. I am just wondering if it's possible to take the pump and etc. off the 165 and install it on the 135? As well, there is a lot of play in the steering wheel on the 135. You can turn the steering wheel about a quarter turn without moving the tires which then allows my wheels to wander a little bit and it is used for a competition plowing tractor so I need the play eliminated. Any ideas on what would be causing the play int the steering wheel/steering column?

No, the gasser power steering pump won't work on the diesel, all the other stuff won't swap over. You best bet is rebuild the 135 steering box with all new parts. If you really need power steering it's best to find a 135 for parts that has power steering, from what I've heard the aftermarket power steering kits for the 135's aren't that good.
