Massey Ferguson 1526 road speed

Pretty sure I am the only one that cares, But I think I did find an answer. I found online the Operation Manual for the Iseki TM3265 (In pretty well written English none the less) This is the tractor MF rebrands as the 1526. It gives a max. speed of 24.4 kph with Ag tires and 22.4 with Turf Tires. So that works out to about 15.2 mph and 13.9 mph. I suppose with R4 tires it would be a hair over 14 mph. I can live with that.

I probably could use a bigger tractor often enough that I should get a bigger tractor, but then I would have a bigger tractor and not sure it would work as well through the spaces I want to go... I wish I could try one out instead of just reading specs online.

A reputable dealer should let you DEMO one, i've gone to my local dealer & just signed a piece of paper as a loaner, haul what i can & they delivered bigger stuff.
NO, i'm not buying big, expensive equipment, they just know how to keep my wallet empty

A good dealer will let you demo a tractor. When I was looking to buy a GC1710 I was offered a demo unit for a weekend from the Massey-Ferguson dealer I bought my machine from. The only thing they wanted in my case was a delivery fee since I live almost an hour away.

If they had the tractor, they would certainly let me demo them. I have driven other models that they have. The problem with the 1526 is that there are very few 1526's to be found, none in my state, according to my dealer's computer. So if I go that route I will be special ordering, or he will get it from another dealer's inventory several hundred miles away.

I guess that I could make the 9 hour round trip drive to look at it...
