Massey Ferguson 1529
Hello all I have a Massey Ferguson 1529 tractor ( i think a 2010). Recently took it to the dealer because the low oil light was on and the dealer told me i need a complete engine. $7000 +4 grand in labor and taxes for the complete job. I was able to find a label on the valve cover says engine Family is ISEKI 7ICLL1.50C3D I can not find any info for this engine? I want to find like an overhaul kit and see what it cost anyone have any info that can help me dumping 11k into a tractor i paid 16k for 2 years ago doesn't sound like a good plan of action. Anyone that can give me more info on the engine and where i can find parts for it would be so appreciated. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Whoa, there must be more to the story than this. Assuming you do not have an extended warranty? What led up to the engine problem?

We were the 3rd owner from my understanding like I said I believe it is a 2010. Apparently my father thought the low oil light was a glow plug light. It would come on at idol and go off at 1400 rpm so he just ran it at the higher rpm. We purchased it with like 340 hours on it and now it has 400 hours after 2 years. Dont know what caused the problem I am guessing bad oil pump.

Are you sure about the part number? Iseki engine type should be 4-5 characters like E3CD, E3AF1, E3CC etc. Besides I think all the Iseki engines are just rebranded Mitsubishi engines. The 1500cc 3 cyl Iseki engines are Mitsubishi KE75 and K3B engines if memory serves me well. Perhaps the number you posted is a MF part number. I have the same problem getting cross reference to Perkins for replacement parts, the engine model and serial numbers are not found on Perkins, only on Agco website although my engine is definitely a Perkins 1004T2

That must be the problem I just got the info off a sticker on the valve cover. I would post the picture but I can't figure out how from my phone at the moment. So sounds like I should call the dealer and see if they will give me a engine model number?

if you look on the engine block itself, are there any numbers stamped or cast on it instead of the sticker?

I think you have an E3CD engine. Iseki did use those Mitsubishi engines in a couple of models years ago but the E75 and K3B were both much smaller engines than your 1500CC Iseki made engine. If you are interested in engine replacement I always recommend TBN member "Bruce1966us" . Bruce Laten is located in Lynchburg TN and I have always felt his engine and shipping prices to be the best around. You can contact him through Ebay https://www.ebay.com/usr/bruce1966us?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 or I think his number is 931-492-0316. He carries a variety of different brands of low hour Japanese diesel engines.
