Massey Ferguson 1655 price

I found a Massey 1655 garden tractor with ag tires, 3 pt hitch, and snow blower advertised locally for $900 (No mower deck). Is that a good price? Can I put a small loader on that?

I went and looked at it today. I was looking at it for my brother, but I was tempted to buy it myself. It is a good solid tractor. The cost of adding a mower deck stopped both of us. I have not seen a PTO like that one before. It was 1" dia, female, and had around 14 splines (guess). The front/mid PTO was the same size and number of splines but male. Is this a common PTO on a CAT 0 machine. The owner was told a simplicity mower deck might fit
