Not at all. A trolly jack. A good imperial socket set.ring spanner set. A lot of time and you're good to go.
Massey ferguson 188 are still worth good money here. Perkins 248 engine's are bullet proof.
I rebuilt mine in two days. There is nothing complicated about them.
Dont rip the whole tractor. Devide it into sections. Backend gearbox engine and front axle. Do one at a time. Your gearbox is probably perfect. Whats your tin work like.
