Massey Ferguson 235 hydraulic

I have a problem with my hydraulic on my 235 Massey Ferguson. The front loader will not work. My question is I think the isolater valve may be bad or not pumping, is there a way to check this valve out? Not very tractor savvy so any help will be greatly appreciated. Loader is a 232 Massey with a single joystick.

I am not familiar with your tractor but Im curious if the isolation valve has multiple positions? If so, are you sure it is in the correct position? Does the 3 point hitch work properly? I'm Also wonder if the system has any quick disconnect couplers...... if so, try resetting them, they are notorious for appearing to be fully seated (but aren't) and causing hydraulic issues.

my question must have sounded stupid, after I removed it the valve is just a metal on metal fit with
rubber o-rings that seal. I replaced the o-rings and all is working good now. 3 point hitch and lift arms were working fine, because of o-ring failure I could not tell if the position was correct or not. Thank you Kernopelli for your response. i am new to tractor stuff but am mechanically inclined so I just jumped in. The valve has 2 positions 1 for lift arms and 1 for loader function.
