Massey Ferguson 275 3 point linkage problems

I have a Massey 275, the 3 point linkage arms will raise at an idle however as soon as the engine rpm is increased to above about 1000 the linkage arms will lower.
The Draft control and Position control levers are in the correct position, however I have tried all positions of both levers and it doesn't make any difference.
Any suggestions?
