Here are some pic's of the Massey Grill guard, The steel diamond plate was a piece of scrap 25" x 28" tall 1/8" thick? but 24" width should be fine. I welded a 10" piece of angle iron to hang over the top bar of the factory guard, bending the plate downward and to the rear to conform to the contours of the factory guard. Then I fabricated and bolted the L/R lower mounting brackets to the shield a installed a steel rod through the factory lower mounting holes on the grill guard, it is a fabricate as you go project. I figured why use anything with holes such as expanded metal when it could still be breached causing frontal damage, although nothing is full proof. There is also 8" of air space between the factory grill and the diamond plate that I would very well doubt any air flow issue.
