Hi All,
I've become the proud caretaker owner of a 1957 MF35 with loader.
It's a 3 cylinder diesel and starts, after laying for over a week, first time without any assistance.
Isn't overly smokey from start but once warm very clean.
I'm a volunteer for Easterleigh Animal Sanctuary (Penny, my better, is a trustee), they've bought a small 13.5 acre farm with large pond.
We've got 12 horses on site and 5 chickens and a Cock. There's is planning permission for a kennel block and cattery.
The little tractor is going to be a great help with maintaining the dry paddock (if we can stop the sand blowing away) and for general pasture maintenance and hauling things around.
I'm actually a dog trainer and I introduced Penny to Easterleigh! I do much of the building and operational maintenance and installation of services.
Currently building a new chicken coop and there are 3 more projects already adding up, but I must get a tractor shed done before winter to keep my little friend in good condition.
Will be asking lots of questions about general maintenance and restoration as I get started on much needed work, first being new front wheel bearings.
Thanks for inviting me in.
Allan
