I'm looking for some help identifying the loader quick attach system that is on my dad's Massey Ferguson 451 Tractor with 1050 loader. It appears similar to a Euro/Global type connection but the dimensions between the top hook and the bottom hole don't appear to match. The top hook and the bottom hole bracket are closer to vertically stacked than the euro type. This loader has spring loaded U shaped connector pins on both sides to release the bucket.

We're trying to buy a set of pallet forks for the tractor and would like to use the existing quick attach if possible. I've attached pictures to help identify it. Thanks for your help. IMG_3384.jpgIMG_3383.jpgIMG_3382.jpgIMG_3381.jpgIMG_3380.jpg

Bump.

I have this very same Massey quick attach setup. Attachments appear to be difficult to find for this setup.
I'm looking for a set of pallet forks.

Looks like it's a Euro quick attach.

Now there are 3 variations of the Euro quick attach:

-Euro 3
-Euro 5
-Euro 8

Here is a picture that might help:

Thank you, I do have the loader booklet, it is called a "Quick Pin Attach". I need to measure between the brackets.

I am going to guess it is a MF specific quick attach, especially since 451 era tractor. When those were new Euro hadn't quite become the gold standard, tractor/loader builders were doing their own thing.

I've been doing some more digging and it does appear to be a proprietary mounting system that is similar to the euro style. The top hooks are the same diameter and close to the same spacing as the Euro 8 style listed above. The bottom supports are slightly closer to the center similar to the Euro 5 style above but not at the same dimensions. I've considered buying a euro bracket and cutting off the bottom tabs and welding on new tabs in the correct location.

My brother contacted Everything Attachments and they'll build a custom adapter or set of forks if given the measurements but I'm not sure of the cost.

The only other option I've found right now is to buy a bolt on kit from worksaver.com. It looks like the part number is 830476 is what I would need for the 1050 loader on our Massey.

I just need to decide if i'm going to keep using the original mounting system or buy a new Euro style system and weld new brackets on to the existing bucket.

If you only think you'll ever need pallet forks, I'd just get them custom made to fit the MF system. It's not broke so why fix :)

If you plan to buy a whole bunch of attachments and want to keep them for use on another tractor in the future, then convert your loader to Euro/Global.

I have Euro attachments, in theory I buy them once and and that is it, they will fit any loader I buy in the future.

I used to see tractors get traded with bucket, forks, spear etc all strapped into the bucket due to proprietary quick attach.
