Buying Advice Massey Ferguson Farm Toys

/ Massey Ferguson Farm Toys #11
That is very nice of you, but I would have no idea what tractor he would even want at this time. I just bought my first new tractor and ended up a MF fan just by starting with a clean slate and looking for the best tractor I could find. I just am disappointed I can't go to the rural king or whatever and see a selection of MF tractors like I do case, jd, and nh. If could find a toy of the GC series that I just bought it would be awesome. Also a big fan of the 1600 series.

Well if he is like my grandsons....I have 5.....he wont care what one it is. I dont have any of the current models...no toys for those that I know of.....but have lots of older Masseys. Email me at the address in my first post and we will figure something out.

RC2 (the company that produces the Ertl toys) does not deal very much with Agco as Agco products don't sell as well as CNH and Deere products. Its just a fact and if they can't make money on an item they lose interest in building any more of them. Agco and RC2 really don't get along too well either which is why smaller companies like Scale Models, Universal Hobbies, Spec Cast, DCP and others produce a lot of Agco vintage and modern models. They have smaller runs and build the models in a different fashion then RC2 so that they can do small runs and still make money. You can find plenty of MF models in 1/32 scale as MF is popular in Europe and 1/32 is the scale of choice in Europe still and most likely forever.

Good luck to you and remember, ebay is always a good fall back if you can't find a particular model through any of the major toy stores online.

I saw a couple MF toy tractors in my last Northern Tool catalog, you could probably find them on their website. They were large farm tractor replicas.

Great! That was the kind of info I was looking for. I did venture to another dealer today and found a limited selection. My son found one he liked so I think I am set for now. Thanks everyone.

Did not want to open thread for just a couple pics. Not M-F toys but wanted to show you all my John Deere's.Made with steel mostly.Don't know much about scales but the row JD is about 15" long maybe 8" high. The other is about 1 1/2 feet long maybe 10" high not including stack.
