I have a 2008 1540 : that has had the ring gear bolt recall at 150 hrs., Then went in for a head gasket leak at 230 hrs. and got a new short block and reconditioned head. I ran it a while and then at 285 hrs. I sent it in for what sounded like a lifter tick. They had a factory Massey tech. looked it over. Dealer resurfaced the head, new head gasket and the tech said Massey had low serial no. motors with that problem and it doesn't affect the motor. So I'm good again, ran it for a while and at 380 hrs. the back right side of the head gasket is leaking again. Does any one else have similar problems.
