Nice job! If you do use bolts, you could always use large fender washers between your bracket and the blower if you wanted to lower the third shoe. That, of course is until you fab up hydro-height-adjusting rams! :D. Welds look 'spiffy'! ~Scotty

Jay-L- Don't know what happened, and thanks for the PM! All I was going to offer was, with that setup, you could put fender washers between the brackets you built, and the new shoe, if you wanted to lower the middle skid. Thought that would be a fix, until you 'fabbed' up your "Totally-Hydro-Shoe-Adjustment-System"!!! :D. (See, my comments weren't really worth chasing me down for!) Nice job, though, I love when you guys: have an issue, Designed a 'fix', and built it! [Spiffy welding to boot!] Happy New Year! ~Scotty

Hi,

This morning your original post has appeared, not sure why it wouldn't show itself last night. For adjustment I think I'll have some 1/8" spacers cut in the same triangle pattern as the existing bracket as I want the edge and strongest point on the snowblower frame to carry as much of the weight as possible. Those were my very fist welds and I'm still tickled about about them and welding in general, wish I was introduced to it 40 years ago. Oh and thanks for the compliment, that was most nifty.
