I have recently bought a 40 plus year old hydrostatic skid steer for projects around 8 acres of property. Its rough to look at but is functional. Parts are non existent, but major components are still available. Im just trying to learn enough about it to keep it running and maximize its usefulness, at this point. I have referenced this forum and have learned a lot. I just found what i believe will work for a replacement hydraulic filter and want to change the fluid. The spec is M1127 and i was leaning towards Rotella HD, but just found Chevron THF 1000 at a comparable cost and wonder if it might be better. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
