My 1970 MF135 engine is the Perkins AG3-152 gas.

I will check the fuel bowl and the fuel line.

I received my MF 135 shop manual today.

It contains a supplement on carburetor linkage adjustment. Since it is the only supplement I found in the manual, I assume linkage sometimes caused problems. I will be checking my linkage to see if it is adjusted properly.

It is possible that your engine has a similar throttle design. If it is helpful I could go over the procedure for checking the throttle operation.
