Massey Fergusson 135 died in operation

Hi my 135 stopped on me while in use. still has diesel in the tank but felt like it wasn't getting fuel. Bled the fuel system and found some air. Got fuel to the injectors but it still wouldn't start. Not sure what to try next. Any suggestions?

Check for good flow of fuel from tank to IP. I'll bet fuel tank outlet or filter is plugged.

I had something similar happen on my MF241, and it wound up being a failed seal in the fuel lift pump...different engines, but similar lift pumps. Start by checking for good fuel flow out of the tank (I checked at the lift pump inlet), then out of the lift pump, then out of the fuel filter. That style lift pump isn't very robust, but luckily they are inexpensive. You might as well put a new filter in it while you're at it...can't hurt.

Follow Tx Jim's advice, and if the flow is poor then you need to remove the fuel cock. NB it is verry awkward to get out and back in. There is a small filter on the fuel inlet in the tank. You can't see it from the top (fuel cap) due to the shape of the tank. I had a 135 for about 17 years andevery 6-12 months it would display the same symptoms as yours due to stuff in the tank. (I tried to clean the tank, but nogo , badly designed for cleaning)

Hi thanks for all your advice. Found the small filter out of the fuel tank, (before the tap) was well and truly blocked up.
Cleaned the filter and bled the fuel system again. After a bit of winding over it fired up again
