Oil & Fuel Massey Fuel Filter Source

Hi, I put this in another section and was unsure of how active the threads may be there.
Putting it here to see if I have any luck with some suggestions.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a source for a fuel filter for my tractor?
2015 MF1736

I went to the dealer today and they wanted $80+ for the filter plus tax. That is sticker shock.
The one for my MF35 looks very similar and was a small fraction of that price.

A Canadian source would be preferable as the 30% USD exchange rate would likely derail the savings vs the local dealer.

I haven't explored Amazon or eBay yet. I would like a suggestion from you as it can be a mountain of imitations and sketchy sellers out there.
Reputable and reliable sellers would be appreciated.

I buckled and bought the oil filter. That was about $25 and it's no more unique looking than an automobile version that slings for $10-$15.

Not to be complaining. If that is how the parts market is going to be, I will adjust but I also don't want to be a complete sucker.

A trip to Napa is in order. I never suspected that they would carry Ag parts.

The price they are charging is ridiculous. It looks just like every other filter cartridge.

I will keep on the hunt online too.

I have a 1734e with the Shiabura engine. I haven't priced filters until I read your post. Man, there is a huge difference in price between the filters for Shiabura engines in the e-series and the Mitsubishi in the premium series. Hope you have luck sourcing a deal.

I would be satisfied if someone could make a magic explanation of this being a super special filter. Any Massey dealers want to take a crack at it?

I found this website with AGCO filter maintenance packs which include engine oil and fuel filters with o-rings and the outer air filter element. $84.40 for the e-series, $255.50 for the 1736. Looks like the e-series is a replaceable element and the 1736 has a main filter and a secondary with a replaceable element? In addition to these maintenance packs, you can drill down to just the filters.

Check Car Quest, they are a baldwin dealer now, they may be able to fix you up.
