Massey GC2610 over heated Hydraulic Oil causing a reduction in forward speed?

I doubt that this is an oil problem since only effects speed in one direction and not pulling power.

need to study the linkage from forward peddle to the pump control. I know that you removed both rear wheels looking for something stuck in the linkage which was an excellent idea. Now study the linkage a little closer to make sure everything is moving properly. I.e. does the shafts rotation match arm movements. Roll pins have been known to partially shear, etc.
Not familiar with Massey but if they have a good parts break down it also might assist in determining possible locations of potential linkage problems.

Pretty well agree with oldnslo. I have a GC2300, similar but not the same. Grease up the pedal shaft, zerk beside, and the one underneath (see pic) if it has one. It could be possible the shaft is binding, causing the reverse pedal to travel at the same time. Inspect linkage from pedal to HST. Sounds weird, but check your rear tire pressure, and the parking brake. If you need expanded parts diagram use Welcome to AGCO Parts Books , log in as guest user to view. The axial pump in the HST provides flow for movement, there is a separate pump that provides flow for the FEL and backhoe (that's the one connected to the suction screen).

I have no idea how long you have had the GC2410, or what hydro oil was used previously. If it is a problem that has only just occurred, a Hail Mary is to drop out the oil, and replace with Kubota Premium UDT, or PetroCanada Duratran full or semi synthetic. Both are great oils for cold winter and summer use. Don't change out the filter, any oil left in it would be neglible considering the oil left in the cylinders. The April may be a good oil, just not in this application. "Meets standard" is a very subjective term when it comes to oil, or anything else. My parents bought a house that was built to minimum building code. Went to replace the upstairs floors, and found the subflooring was 3/8" plywood. It met standard at the time.
