Howdy folks, been away from the forums for awhile. Been doing OTHER important things if there is such a thing! Anyhow, I was wondering if any of you Massey 1655/1855 guys (or Snapper 1655/1855 when they were bought) has had any luck finding any after market mufflers for your tractors. Mine backfired and blew the ends of the muffler off, scared the crap ot of me lol. Its too far gone to try and weld to it. Been looking for an exact fit, but have found none. I have considered a muffler from a Deere 317 with an Onan motor that outputs on one end instead of the center front. Dont know if I could get the hood modified enough to make one work. My motor is the Onan P220. I know the Deere one would mount but I dont want to leave the hood off, or modify it if I dont have to. Any ideas/sources for these mufflers? Thanks in advance. TB
