I went to Massey's site and found that it was difficult to get answers to simple questions. for example, Kioti's site presented, attachments, attachment specs, what fit what ect. It seemed like Massey presented equipment in generalities. Any tips on Massey's site to make navigating easier?thanks

I think Massey wants you too talk to the dealers for your info alot of the others will say that this mower can be run by this 'this and that tractor, when in all reality they have no businees near some of the units, and a good dealer will point you in the right direction.
Any way thats my 2 cents.

If you want to see something that will really make you scratch your head go look at Massey's specs for their new 1500 series. Some of the models loose almost 9hp between the motor and PTO while the next size motor looses 3hp?!?! I was looking at the specs last night and was constantly scratching my head...not to mention that some models have 4 different transmission choices!

I don't know what you are trying to do here, but if you will check the Grand Ls, they have a range of 5-10 hp drop between engine and pto.

Don't get me wrong, not trying to start anything...was just pointing out, it just had me scratching my head...if I had to guess those output figures are because different transmissions, but you would think they would list them for every transmission.

Were told at a recent dealer meeting that Massey Ferguson, N.A. will be migrating their site over to the global brand format mid-year. To see what it will look like, go to www.masseyferguson.com and then click on the UK / Eire site. Also, they are planning to release the "Massey Mall" for on-line apparel and gifts.

MFMan,
Thanks for the link. One thing I'm always complaining about is they always get really cool stuff elsewhere in the world, but not for this (North America) market. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Case in point - on the UK MF website: this is too cool of an ATV:
Massey Fergusen AgTV 250-500

If you click the PDF brochure, you'll see a very innovative rack system. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hope it doesn't take forever to migrate to the new format. The UK/Ireland format is great.

That thing says Arctic Cat all over it. I first thought that when I saw the rims, as I know most 4-wheeler manufacturers stick to the same rim design, and those look like arctic cats rims.
Also the rack system thing that they advertised is an Arctic Cat "breakthrough in design that sets Arctic Cat above and beyond the competitor."
Check out the Arctic Cats: http://www.arctic-cat.com/atvs/links.asp and then lick on MRP-speedrack system to the right.

From what the local DNR Officers have told me they had way too many idle problems an so on with theirs and that I didn't want one. A Honda dealer who I was getting some parts from said they won't even take one on trade anymore, they can't get rid of em.
