massy ferg hydro static gearbox refirb

hi
i'm new and from the old country england.
i've just got my hands on a massy ferg 30/13 ride on mower, however the gearbox has problems.
i would like to have a go at self repair but cannot get any good info or mannuals. all advice would be greatly welcome.
or any body on this side of the pond with damaged front end and would like to clear back end.

Welcome to the forum Cyr!
And although you did state that you are without manuals and did not have much info, can you give us the serial number of the tractor, and whatever numbers and names that are on the rear axle? Do you have a guess as to how old a machine this is? I am pretty much totally ignorant about Massey Ferguson Mowers, but many manufacturers used the same hydro pumps and transaxles, and I'm sure someone here can help you out once we can nail down exactly what you have. And again welcome to the forum.

any information about how to rebuild this unit or how to get hold of a manual or cheap replacements.
i,m giving it a go as a bit of a hobby but i,m not sure where to start as i don't have any info.
