:( I bought a new 1528 4wd and have had it over the summer doing mostly dress up on my arena and working lightly in the fields. I got to the typical maintenence hours and did the filters and oil and hydraulics. I did not bleed the fuel lines as I was stupid and did not read the manual. The tractor ran fine but recently it loses power at high rpm. It doesn't stall it just loses all power and then the rpms start to go back up, runs great for a few minutes , again at high rpm the does the same thing. I changed the fuel filter again and took an air blower to the air filter but to no avail. I bled the fuel lines but neither gas nor air came out of the bleeder screws in any real way so I am not sure if I am doing it right. Unfortunately the company I bought it from sold the business and the new owners, Mason Tractor, seem disinterested in helping except to say bring it in...ya know 400-500 hundred later.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your fuel filter housing should have a bleed hose or I think it does on that model. Turn to bleed and then run some fuel out in a jug. If there is any air, that should care of it. You can also see if fuel if coming out correctly. I don't know but I think that model has a pusher pump. If the fuel doesn't come out of the bleeder, you will know the pump is out or the tank is plugged.
Another thing you can do; Run your fuel down low than take a flash light and look down in the fuel tank. It could have something plugging the outlet. I would have said the filter but since you have already changed it.....

Thanks for the reply...I have the manual for this and it shows the proper bleed procedures and where to do it. But when I opened them up, no fuel came out at all, just a very little drip from the filter bleed and nothing from the injector pump bleed. Should the key be on to run the pump and push fuel. The manuel says don't try to start it with the bleeds open but how would fuel move with out something pushing it. It has a full tank..gravity feed? Like I said it runs fine, starts fine and only starts to lose power at the high RPM. I also get a warning as I get a whiff of diesel fume before it loses power. Wouldn't this indicate air in the system as opposed to clogged injectors or clogged lines or tank? This is a brand new tractor...6 months old. Again thanks for the reply. This would not be covered as it is not a problem with the tractor itself but a symptom of fuel, or dirt....service center thoughts.
