Mattracks anyone?????

I have been looking into the Mattracks as a future possiblity for my RTV900. I was wondering if anyone has purchased them, used them, abused them, and so on???

How much do you have to drop to get a set? Is there a good place to get them?

Mattracks (lightfoots for RTV's) will run you about $4800.00. They are good tracks but the weight of the RTV makes it hard for them to give you great performance. Look at Tatou tracks or Kimpex (TJC) tracks. I think there is also one called Bovine. Those will be a better choice for snow and they cost less. The lightfoots just cannot handle the weight. I hope the change that soon because they do make a nice track but not right now.

Man, those things are cool! I see they have them for pick-ups and SUV's. I need them for my tractor.

Thanks for the reply RTV900, I have been checking into the Tatous model and found a set on Ebay. However the tracks are currently set up for a sportsman 700, I was wanting to find out if I could use them on my RTV, with a different mounting kit of course.

Just call Tatou. They are a little hard to understand (at least for us in Wisconsin and Minnesota) but they are very helpful people. They should be able to help you out.
