I am curious what the max rpm you can achieve on this unit. full throttle for me is just a hair over the mid pto line, so maybe 2600? I am just curious as i do plan to mow, but thought it would have a bit more buffer.
How wide is your snow blower?
Is the mowing deck 60", or wider?
Tractors are made to run at PTO rpm. If the load is too much you may hear a strain or see a bit of black smoke.
If your throttle hits the top of the slot and just barely makes rpm when mowing, let's check that cable.
We don't need full throttle to max rpm when not loaded. Drive down the lane in med with no PTO. You should be able to over-rev the engine before the throttle hits the stop.
Confused what rpm for 2000 PTO has to do with 'max' rpm, thus which rpm matters. PTO rpm isn't necessarily where max hp is, and neither is 'max' rpm.
What rpm can you get it up to (that's your 'max') or want to, if that's what you want to know? Do you want your PTO to spin faster?
Again  not sure what are you asking and why? Sorry if I keep guessing your intent wrongly. You askin' what without why.
