The tooth bar that you are asking about is the traditional one. It has several long Teeth that are spread out the width of it.
Tasks I have used it for
digging/scooping - helps to break up the ground with clay soils. Will add to your bucket capacity if you scoop mulch (works really well)
used it as a hoist - Probably not supposed to; but a chain/strap around a tooth lifted implement's such as tillers and mowers from trailer. awkward car parts like axles and engines it will move as well.
Firewood - when we get a bucket full to tote to the house my son uses those teeth to get just a bit more in that bucket.
It is a tool that in my opinion adds to the functionality of ones tractor and can reduce wear on it by breaking up the surface area on a bucket when digging/scooping. You will not regret installing it on yours, I have yet to hear anyone wish they didn't purchase this great attachment.
