Hello to all,

I posted this on another Thread but thought I would start one myself so I copied over the posting.

"My 3-point just stopped working, one minute I was adjusting the mounting to attach the Brush Hog and next it wouldn't lift. Funny !

I looked for any linkage that may have come un-done, looked for oil leaking, even manually lifted the arms a few times, check the control flow value, worked the valve a few times in and out... nothing, nothing, nothing... I dislike it when I can't at least see what is wrong.

I have taken off the Seat and under panels, I don't see anything.
I need to get the power washer out and clean things up a little, maybe that will show something.

Anyone have any more info on the ominous 3-Point Hitch Glitch ?
Please post your comments, your stories, anything that might help with my investigation.

To get a Mechanic up to the site it will cost me $100+/hour, not a happy camper on that one !

Take care, GOD Bless"

I cleaned up the rear section of the Tractor, Power Washer wouldn't start so it was a spray on teh cleaner and then the hose.

After clean up and dry time, I took a look around the rear end and the 3-PH Linkage, I didn't see anything that would tell me what is going on or in my case... not going on.

I don't have a Service Manual so I can't tell for sure what I am looking at. I followed the Linkage to see if something was broken or just fell apart but couldn't see anything, I looks for leaking, nothing, I moved the linkage and manually moved the 3-PH... nothing, so I am at a stand still.

Does anyone have any direct information on this Max-28XL 3 PH problem of the lift not moving up or down.
I adjusted the valve between my legs without success... in and out a few times, I worked the lift lever back and forth and at the same time as the valve, all with and without the motor running, without any success.
I am at a total loss because I really don't know what I am doing. I take things apart and hope I can find a problem that I can fix but alas I have have failed.

So before I call the Mobile Tractor Mechanic, I am hoping someone will contact me with that bit of info that I can take to the tractor and fix her up.

This is the second major problem I have had, the first was the fuel solenoid and that was a quick fix thank to the member on this Site; now I need a little assist... PLEASE help me out the brush is getting high and I really don't want to walk around with the Large Weed Whacker but I'm starting to think I will have sooner that later if something doesn't come my way.

I guess the fact that the tractor has been stripped as much as it has been Is a good thing, now the Mechanic won't have to take those parts off.

Thanks for reading this post, thanks to anyone that can assist me in this repair.

GOD Bless all in these troubled times.
