Has anyone out there used MaxiGrip ice studs on their tractor?

I have used the smallest size in my work boots for the last 2 winters. I was impressed with how well they worked in slippery conditions. I am wondering if they work as well in tractor tires? I know they come in packs of 100 studs with their own installation tool that allows you to use a cordless drill to set them to the correct depth.

With the frequent freeze thaw cycles here i get quite a bit of ice in my driveway. I am considering getting some for my tractor to help with the plowing this coming season.

I put hex head non-carbide atv spikes in all four R4s on a previous MFWD tractor. They were awesome on ice and pavement (minimal asphalt damage) and good on frozen ground. Lasted about 250hrs and two winter before most were worn down and maybe 10% had popped out. Sold the tractor but would have just put another set in. I think I put 100 in each rear and 50 in each front.
