So....it sat out in the salt air here near the coast and the clutch rusted stuck. Then I did an internet search and saw how you could get it unstuck by putting it in low gear and standing on the clutch and brake at the same time.
Then I blew up the transmission box under the seat.
Lots of very bad noise and now its toast. Cracked the main shaft end bearing housing and probably all the gears from the sound of it.
So now I have a good motor, V2 Loader and beat up box blade.
Don't think I want to fuss with trying to fix this, just too much work.
I also don't want to fuss with parting it out myself, but would rather just sell it for a parts tractor.
Motor (K4E) is strong, hydraulics are strong, FEL cylinders rebuilt this summer. New front tires (two sets, 6 inch and 7 inch).
Front finals are shot, steering linkage is good, steering box is shot. Body parts are rusted out.
What are my options ?
I'm located south of Houston Texas near the coastal town of Galveston.
