I now have about 50 hours on the GX50 doing all kinds of farm chores. I have only good things to say about the way the tractor works. First, it is very well built, but I knew that when I bought it. The engine is very smooth as is the power steering. The cab + A/C has turned out to be fantastic especially in dusty hot conditions. It was also nice at the end of winter to be out of the cold and have heat.
My wife has buried it more than once in soft manure filled fields and the 4wd and locking diffs do wonders. The only draw backs are: I could use a full size frame for some equipment use even though I have the power, and at 5'11" and 170 pounds I am very comfortable but if you are taller or weigh over 200# I think the cab would be small.
My initial concern about the loader specs is unfounded. The loader performs far above what the say it does. I had no problems lifting a large piece of equipment (0ver1200#) hanging off the front of the loader to full height to load it on a truck the other day. I see that the current sub frame is better than the older Buhler 195 subframe too.
Glad I bought it.
