McCulloch D20,
I have a McCulloch D20 that was bought new by my Dad, I think in 1965. It has a four foot mower on it and has cut grass for every summer. To the best of my knowledge it has never been in a machanic shop. I do need to change the key switch and the starter/glow plug switch If I can ever find them. Engine runs perfect, Hydraulics, gears, drive train still great. They just don't make them like this anymore. I'm doing a complete restoration on this tractor now. If anyone has a lead on the switch's please let me know.

The only thing I can find that may help you is this thread: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/166479-mcculloch-kubota-d20.html

You have a very rare tractor.

I know I have this very rare tractor and it was very limited in the numbers produced. Even better is I might have the only one owner D20 in existance. I wrote a email to Kubota this evening and maybe they can help a little too. This tractor is priceless to me as it was bought by my father in 1965 and he died in 1996. There is no amount of money that could buy this tractor but if it turns out to be a rare piece I might loan/donate it to a museum if their interested.

I also have a Kubota D20. My dad bought it from a lawn mower dealer in the early 80s. We still use it today and I pulled it in a garden tractor pull a few years back. Full pulls in fouth and fifth gears. If you need any help with the restoration let us know we may be able to help.

I have decided not to try to restore this one. I think it is in too good of shape as it is and after all it's only going to be original once but it can be restored at any time. It runs perfect and everything works so why fix something that isn't broke.

I just put new tires on my D-20 8.3 X 24 with new tubes they look good and have better tread than
original tires and wish I had done it sooner.
