Check for any play in the rear axles as they leave the differential, as well as any oil seepage. particularly the right rear axle. I and a friend are possibly seeing failure in the bearing in the rear diff, at about 20 to 25 hours from new. Drives fine but you can grab the axle and wiggle it, where it exits the differential.

Keep us posted.
If you are doing the work yourself let me know. I have the service manual and I'll scan the pertinent pages and email them to you if you like.

I may be guilty of jumping the gun. On taking it in to the dealer today, I found all 4 new units had the same type of loose play in the rear axle where it exits the differential. Dealer seemed to think this was normal. He is going to replace a seal in that location on my mechron. I am interested in the parts breakout in the rear differential, as it seems that the amount of play would be hard on a seal there. I cannot visualize how the axle can be supported and have that much wiggle. would love to see that page ( Drrick@wcc.net)
thanks please forgive the paranoid post.I love this utv.
