I posted 670 posts and I am still Platinum? There should be a grading system that measures the quality of posts. My one post is worth of ten posts. My status should be changed to "SuperStar."

Now that would be a chore (big job) to 'grade' each post. I wouldn't wish that job on anyone. (I do wonder what you think "SuperStar" would mean to you, however).

You should be careful for what you wish for, as the grading system may not be what you really want, or be what you think it would do for you. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

IMO, we could do away with the classification system altogther, and just be satisfied with the number of posts, if anything at all.

Being able to go back and read a members' posts is most informative to further understand where someone is coming from and what they have to offer. I think everyone's opinions are important to the forum, and should be taken by the reader as just that, an opinion, and only one.

(Except for Bird, and his opinions are best). /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Just because a person has a lot of posts doesn't mean anything. Let me say that again, Just because a person has a lot posts doesn't mean anything. There are people that are very helpful and don't make very many posts. Then there are others that just post to be posting. There are even some that don't know anything about equipment or should I say very little that have just read everything here and regurgitate it, which misleads others into thinking that they know what they are talking about. So, the numbers of posts don't necessarily mean that someone is a knowledgeable member, but that doesn't mean that they are not either. We do have some very high count member that as very good also and deserve a high title.

Agreed 100%

Bird is approaching a monumental achievement of 15,000 posts of which no 'new status' exists.

My suggestion would be: TBN "Senior Statesman".

Any other ideas?

Bird is already unique (in more ways than one! :cool), he's the only TBN Superstar.
