Men like cars. Women like gardening. Sure, there are exceptions. But the fact of the matter is that you'll always see more men at a car show and more women at a gardening show. It's just the way it is.
That says something about how men and women look at taking a spouse, too. I know it may sound crazy, but bear with me a moment on this. With either a car or a spouse, when a man finally makes a commitment to get one, he expects pretty much zero maintenance for at least five years or so.
Women, on the other hand, tend to want to be constantly working on and tending to either a spouse or a garden constantly in an effort to make it better and better. Men look at this much work as a sign something is seriously wrong mechanically. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
If there ever is a problem, a woman will try to work and dig down to the very roots to try to fix whatever's wrong, no matter how much or how long it takes. Men very often see this same thing as a sign it's time to trade up. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
