If you plan to work in the flats, there are better options.

We have an invasive species here called Phragmite. It has taken over all our wetlands. I get calls to have them cut, herbicide sprayed or even dug out. Looks like a great machine for it. Also get calls for ditching frequently. I like the wide, smooth bucket and rotating wrist.

Would be awesome if it could also run a small rotary cutter, too.

I dont think it looks feasible to buy the machine and maintain it. Probably averages one hydraulic leak per day, or more

I like the mobility of it but I agree, maintenance would be crazy. Swivel would be great.

A while back I saw one - on a video - cleaning out the area around a low dam. Made my BP spike. JMHO - easier to get a machine like that than to find somebody who would operate it in those extreme conditions. Absolutely crazy stuff................

Just the cost of the swivel wrist & 58” bucket with hydraulics is at least 10 grand. Seller took the ad down.
And its a good thing, because I was thinking about calling.
