Here is a picture of the machine the county uses to work dranage. 4 independant wheels, can spin 360 degrees and can "walk." I watched him walk it over a 5 foot fence and down the banks of the stream on my property.

If I could afford one of those ... I would spent all my time "walkin' and diggin' " just cause I could ... what a piece of equipment ... I wonder what the maintenance cost are ...

I saw one of the Menzi Muck, machines Philadelphia Mississippi. THey have an equipment auction every spring. There one in the latest edition of rock and dirt for 9000 dollars. Id love to have it but im saving for a new Leeboy Paver, or a good grader. I beleive the Menzi is made in Sweden and thes another company in Germany that makes a similar unit caller Kaiser.

I looked around with google but couldn't find any Kaiser earthmoving outfits... I did find Shaeff (sp?) of Germany which is under Terex now...

hey Scott try http://www.kaiser.li/ THats the link the Polytrac page gives. Germany has a nice machine called a scrape dozer they use. They were made by Menk but now produced by Nissha of Japan They have a light grading blade and rippers and an 8 to 10 cubic yard scraper bowl in their midsection. Best regaurds Taylor
