Mercron 2200 alternator size?

Was wondering how many amps an alternator on a mercron 2200 puts out? I am putting a electric sprayer pump that is rated at 19 amps max. Will this alternator will be big enough.

Randy, I think your battery size is the bigger question. The alternator on the Mercon will eventually charge your battery, so long as you run it long enough. However, it's your battery that provides the juice to the sprayer. If you're worried about it killing the battery, you could always hook the Mercon up to a trickle charger when you're not using it. If you're going to be spraying full time, you may want to get another battery and hook it up in parallel to have more battery capacity. Otherwise, occasional spraying around the house/farm isn't going to kill your battery....unless you leave it discharged all the time.

Thanks, I was concerned that the charging system could keep up. I like the idea of hooking up another battery in parallel. Will try that.
