Merry Christmas to You and your Family. One question? Why is your tractor enclosed in that protective screened cage? I assume its purpose is protection, but from what? Possible tree limbs? Thanks.

The farm I bought came with the tractor. The farm used to be a tung orchard, for tung oil. They needed the cage to drive down between the trees without getting hit. This was 50-60 years ago. Hurricane Betsy or Camille knocked down nearly all of the trees at a time when there was little demand for the oil, they were never replanted.

The cage adds another several hundred pounds to the tractor It works great when bush hogging the yaupon holly trees, they can't touch you. Enables me to drive through the thickest of brush.
