I've had a really bad day, the grapple for the tractor finally arrived it doesn't fit so the dealer proceeded to grind off some braces on the loader bracket to make it fit, /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif it still won't fit called the manufacturer FFC they made a mistake and welded it up for a 1250 loader instead of a 1251 their solution is to ship it back they'll reweld the correct brackets on and ship it back and pay to replace the ground off quick attach bracket on the tractor. They claim they can do this and have it back by the fifteenth. My question is I found another grapple made by Solesbee but they make theirs out of A-572 steel instead of the FFC made out of T-1. Is there much if any difference in the strength of these metals and since I'm just a little mad with not having the tractor for another 2 weeks do ya'll think FFC's bucket is so superior to the Solesbee one that you'd give them a chance to fix this or would you stop and regroup. Also when I inspected the FFC grapple it appears that they left off the hardened pins that I paid for and I have the dealer checking on the cushioned cylinders because they don't appear to be anything special either.
