I am in the process of performing the 200 hour service on my L3010 HST.
When I drained the oil from the front left transfer case, it had a distinct metallic look to it. I noticed the oil from the right side did not look as bad.
Is this normal wear, or am I headed for trouble?
Normal in my train of thought, especially if this is only the first or second time it has ever been done. I ain't no mechanic but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night (I had to do that).
