Metric Compression Fittings

Looking for a supplier for double compression fittings for 11mm steel line. I think that's the size of the high pressure hydraulic line on YM1700, If that's not the size maybe someone will give me the right size. Maybe someone has the name of metric compression fitting supplier.

Have you tried NAPA ? They usually have or can get hard to find stuff.

None of the ones around have or have access to metrics.

I can check down here at a main NAPA store for you . What do you mean by double comp. fittings ? are you talking about a coupling?

The line is 10mm. Any dealership that sells front loaders (such as Koyker) for the Yanmars should have the fittings in stock.

Yeah that's what I should have said, coupler. I cut the line to install the FEL on my 1700. I need to move it to the 2020 and would like to just put the section I cut out back in on the 1700. Bruce says it's 10mm. I checked with Fredricks and all they had was compression on one end and male pipe threads on the other. Won't work for what I want to do.

Contact Discount Hydraulic Hose. They have many sizes of metric and British fittings in stock, some of which are not in their current catalog. Tell them you came from TBN as they have posted here in the past.

Thanks, I have an email in to them now. I had asked them about 11mm, they just email back and said they couldn't find 11, just 10 & 12. I returned email and told them 10. Waiting to hear back.

You may be able to find it locally asking at the local tractor dealerships. I needed to replace a hydraulic hose and no one could do metric fittings, but they all named the same place that could. Gave me directions and problem solved. Otherwise, discount hydraulic hoses will have it.

Why can't you use 2 compression fittings and a short piece of hose. I have done it several times and it is fairly cheap. Fredricks has everything you would need. Talk to Paul Seago. He'll be more than happy to help you. And tell him I said HI.
