MF 1030 Shift Lever Stuck!

/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif My 1030 is stuck in Second Gear! Any ideas on how to get the shift lever back to neutral?

Hi Jeff,
If your MF1030 is anything like my MF1040, your probablly going to have to pull off the top transmission cover. Im willing to bet that shifter fork is hung up some how. I have a little over 1400 hours on my machine and have never encountered that problem yet. Let me know how you make out!

Removed Shift Lever to expose Transmission. carefully manipulated the various gears and it finally unlocked the shifter plate. I was able to return gate to neutral and reinstalled Shifter.
