My 1240 has served me well, zero problems, until a couple days ago when I returned to the shop to gas up. I was running near empty when I re-fueled, and the fuel gage correctly indicated right off empty and was working fine. After I topped the tank off and restarted the motor, the fuel gage snapped over to past Full, and has stayed there ever since. I can't see anything loose, but neither can I find the wires at the tank from the sender. Funny how it would be working fine and then do this right after a re-fill parked in a garage. Anybody have any ideas?
