I have a 1999 MF 1250 and while bush hogging today the pto stopped. I flipped the column switch to re-engage it and it would start make a few revolutions and stop. It never reached 540rpm and appears as if it engages then immediatly disengages and coast to a stop. I cooled the tractor and disconnected the shaft from the mower and tried again. The pto shaft would start and spin about 10 revolutions before stopping. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. This is the electro-hydraulic clutch. Where is the solenoid?
