MF 1260 remote kit??

I have a MF 1260 and I want to install a single spool remote to drive my new Markham grapple. Anyone have any ideas where to start looking for a compatable kit? WRLong doesn't have a kit for my tractor. Thanks.

Does your FEL valve have 6 or 7 hoses going to it?

If it's 7, the you have a "power beyond" line you can put a new solenoid valve or regular spool valve inline with to operate the grapple.

Thanks Kenny; looks like I have 6 hoses going into the FEL. I have attached a pic; if you zoom on it, you can see the configuration. Where do I go from here?

Here's a blowup of the previous pic...best I could do with it and still have it be clear enough to see anything. Can't take any more pics right now since I'm not physically located with the tractor for the next couple of weeks.

OK, that line on the right that goes through the mast looks like it is the OUT hose and goes to the rear of the tractor...If that is correct then you can feed a new valve from the OUT of your FEL valve.
Basically you would disconnect that hose and put it on the OUT of the new valve, and then have a short hose made to go from the OUT of the FEL valve to the IN of the new valve.

Next step is to decide on a new valve, whether a electric solenoid or a regular spool valve and then fabricate a mount. After it's mounted you can figure out all the hose length's and fittings required to hook it up.

I guess I'm stuck at this point 'til I get back to where the tractor's located. Thinking about the valve, electric solenoid or a regular spool, I was planning on regular spool; can't see the advantage in going to the wiring issues associated with electric solenoid just to operate the grapple. Also planning on trying to mount the valve on/near the mast for convenient operation.
