After not being able to work on my tractor for a long time I am back and close to finishing a rebuild. When I bought the 135 the neutral safety switch wires had been cut. It started fine in neutral and I never tried to start it in gear. Does the switch only come into play if you try to start it in gear ? I tried to search for past posts on this without much luck. Thanks ahead of time

The neutral safety switch is designed to prevent the tractor from starting in gear. Both shifters must be in neutral position. Although easily bypassed it is important to keep this feature active. -kid

Only the high / low has to be in neutral. The gear selector can be in any gear.

Thanks They are cheap enough so will replace and wire it up. I think you previously mentioned the connectors can be found at hobby shops
